· WEBSITE PHOTOS: We have added pictures to this website. If you have any pictures you would like posted, please send them to Carmela Simons at cjsimons@optonline.net. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE ANY OBJECTIONS TO PICTURES OF YOUR SON BEING POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE. WE WILL NOT USE NAMES WHEN POSTING PICTURES. If you have pictures you would like up on the website, please forward them to Carmela.

· TROOP PICTURE: We will be taking a troop picture at our next meeting on June 1st. Please attend in full uniform.

· BSA 100TH ANNIVERSARY PATCH: Before the meeting on June 1st at 7:00 pm R. Fabbro will go over the requirements for the BSA 100th Anniversary Patch. The BSA is offering the 100th Anniversary Commemorative Badge for any Scout interested in earning it. The badge has several ribbons on it that must be earned. It can only be done this year. Rhonda and Bob asked everyone to encourage their Scout to earn this badge. Follow this link for more information.

· PIZZA PARTY: The end of year pizza party will be held on June 8th. Please sign up on the posted sheet. Please bring desert and a bottle of soda. Uniforms are not required unless the scout has a Scoutmaster Conference or Board of Review scheduled.

· COURT OF HONOR: Wednesday, June 16th at the Highland Mills Firehouse. Scouts should arrive at 6:00 pm. in full Class A uniforms and the event will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $40 per family,$12 for adults, and $8 per child. We are asking that the families limit their attendence to immediate relatives due to the building capacity allowance and possible difficulty with seating.

· CUB SCOUT FISHING DERBY: This event is being held on Saturday, 6/26, at 9 a.m. Kevin Steinhauer and Jeff Cox will be posting a sign-up sheet for anyone that wants to work on their Fishing Merit Badge that day instead of working on it at summer camp. It should be a great event. Village Green Landscaping is sponsoring the event.

· SUMMER CAMP: July 25—31. Camp Read Scout Reservation, in Brant Lake, NY. All forms and permission slips are due by July 1st (including adult medical forms). Totin’ Chip training will take place before summer camp.

· 2010 NATIONAL SCOUT JAMBOREE : JULY 26TH—AUGUST 4TH - FT. A.P. HILL, VIRGINIA

· CARRIAGE HOUSE IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE: Chaired by D. Neilson. Sign-up sheet is posted. We are also looking for materials and funding for the project.

· YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING must be renewed every two years for Assistant Scoutmasters and parent committee members, and merit badge counselors. If you renew your training, please notify Janet Theiss.
